Today, “Agrovista” is celebrating an important event – its birthday, its 25th anniversary!

25 years is a significant distance that “Agrovista” has overcome with dignity! During this time, the company became not only the leader of the agricultural sector, but also a powerful driver of the region’s development.

350,000 tons of crop production, 20,000 tons of dairy products, 250,000 tons of commodity products and exports, 1.5 GW of electricity – these indicators are a reflection of our strength, power and responsibility to people, to the economy of the region and the country as a whole.We are fully aware of the responsibility of the regional leader. We feel that the decisions we have made affect the further steps of our colleagues in the industry – formation of rent for land, which is increased annually on our initiative, revision of wages, and most importantly in investments and social support of communities

An important asset of “Agrovista” is the experience gained over the years, awareness of the obstacles and opportunities of the present that affect the future. This forms our strategic vision for further development. At one time, this shaped the construction of modern elevators, the development of the river fleet, dairy farming, and the direction of solar energy. All projects became the largest, and sometimes unique for the region and Ukraine. “Agrovista” has always been a company that looks to the future. Our ability to adapt to changes, implement new technologies and build long-term partnerships is the key to further success.

25 years is just the beginning of a long journey. We continue to focus on the development of the main lines of business and work on their efficiency. Today, in the conditions of climatic changes, and as a result, permanent droughts, we see the main challenges in agriculture as ensuring sustainable development, which is achieved due to soil conservation technologies, modern irrigation, justified crop rotation.

Since the early 2000s, we have dreamed of creating a national grain trader that would help farmers export products to end consumers around the world, providing a fair price and the best service, protecting against losses and fraud. For 25 years, the trading company has experienced many upheavals, every year newcomers appeared on the market and someone disappeared, unable to withstand the competition. But we remain and continue our mission. And that is why in 2022 we were the first to help launch transshipment on the Danube, which would provide Ukrainians with a safe grain corridor until the fall of 2023. Today, the trading company “Hermes Trading” has in its arsenal motor vehicles, railway wagons, the only fleet operating on the Dnieper, and has a full set of tools for cooperation with farmers.

We are proud of our Oleksandriysk sugar factory, which has kept its work in the difficult steppe zone, while 80 out of 120 sugar factories in Ukraine stopped working. Today, the factory team has improved the quality of the products produced and confidently exports sugar to the EU.

We also continue the difficult path of preserving dairy farming. Milk is the most valuable product that only wealthy societies can afford. Dairy complex “Petrykivske Moloko” produces 45% of the industrial milk of Kirovohrad Oblast. During the 12 years of implementation of the project, hundreds of innovations have been implemented, dozens of protocols have been developed for keeping high-performance animals in the conditions of Ukraine, in the environment of our climate and biological background.

The project of the “Olexandria” football club is particularly bold and successful. FC has been present in the highest football league of Ukraine for a long time. The club is a cultural center of leisure and a motivation for a healthy lifestyle for young people. Several children’s sports schools have been created on the basis of the club, which ensure a healthy society for the future. And the management of the club with the involvement of various specialists from all over the world is another example of the effectiveness of Agrovista management.

We remember the importance of our social responsibility. We develop infrastructure, promote the development of sports, and also actively participate in supporting our compatriots in this difficult time for Ukraine. “Agrovista” saw the potential and invested 100% of its own funds in the restoration of the park named after Shevchenko, which has become a tourist attraction of Alexandria, and a place of rest for residents and guests of the city.

The biggest challenge today, as for most businesses in Ukraine, is the retention of human capital in the company. “Agrovista” has its advantages here. Managing people is more difficult than managing machines, and from the very moment the company was founded, its advantage was a unique combination of experience and youth. Youth is about innovation and determination to change, and experience is always about stability. Therefore, we currently continue to support such a corporate culture. We value specialists with experience working at Agrovista and attract specialists from all over Ukraine who can strengthen the team and realize themselves in the company. It is teamwork, where decisions are not made individually, but collectively, jointly and in agreement, that is a successful approach in corporate management, the best practice in the development of society, and a real standard of democracy.
